Q: What time is check in/out?
A: Check-in is 4pm, check-out is 11am. However, if we have guests back in sameday we will need to start outside around 10:00am. At check-in we will be there to greet you and show you around the facilities.
Q: How many does it sleep?
A: Bonnyside House sleeps up to 19 guests, onsite we can sleep up to 29 including the two cottages and cabin. The house has 2 king rooms downstairs(one with ensuite), upstairs there is 4 double rooms(one with sofa bed), one super king room(with ensuite), one large family room with 2 double beds and a single, and there is an extra single bed in the cinema room too.
Q: Do you accept children/babies
A: Yes. We also have cots and highchairs. Children must be supervised whilst using the outdoor facilities.
Q: How many bathrooms do you have?
A: There is 5 inside and one outside. 2 baths(one in the super king ensuite) and 3 showers.
Q: What shops are nearby?
A: On Bonnybridge's main street (2 min drive, 10 min walk) there is a Tesco and Co-op, Greggs, Premier, Jet Petrol Station along with takeaways, cafes, and other misc shops. We recommend the Cotton House Chinese Takeaway which is a bit further away but does deliver to Bonnyside House.
Q: What do you provide?
A: We provide Sugar, Coffee, Tea, Condiments, Shower Gel etc, Toilet Paper, Cleaning supplies, One stack of logs and matches for the fireplaces(more available for £5 per big bag). We do not supply bath towels for the house, only hand towels.
Q: What is in the kitchen?
A: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need, including two ovens, two dishwashers, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, two fridges, freezer, pantry cupboard and glasses, mugs, cups, plates, pots and pans etc.
Q: Can we bring dogs?
A:Yes. There are wild rabbits and squirrels running around the garden and it is not enclosed, we also have other guests which may be on the property with their own dogs so this is something you have to take into consideration when thinking whether your own dogs would be suitable.
Q: Can we invite other guests during the day?
A:Yes, but please speak to us beforehand and they are not permitted to use the hot tubs or swimming pool.
Q: Hot tubs/Pool
A: The hot tub and pool will be ready for your arrival, sometimes they may need an extra hour or two to heat up. We maintain the hot tub and pool for you throughout your stay and will check them every morning around 10am. If we feel there has being missuse with the hot tub there is a fee of £100 to drain and refill as this takes around 4 hours and 3000+ litres of hot water. If the pool needs water it will get cold and takes a day to heat up 1-2 degrees, so please no excessive splashing if you wish to have use of a hot pool through your stay.
Q: Do you require a security deposit?
A: Yes, starting next year(2023) we will require a £250 security deposit for the hot tub and pool.
Q: What if i want to cancel?
A: Outside of 6 weeks we will refund everything except the original booking deposit unless rebooked. Within 6 weeks we offer no refund, if you want protection we recommed booking travel insurance.
A: If during your stay you are not happy, please let us know straight away so we can try and rectify the issue. Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis, but we do not refund if you do not let us know about problems before the end of your stay.
